Top 100 lineman to cut list to top two soon, with Georgia looking good

Sterling Jenkins isn’t exactly from an SEC hotbed, hailing from Pennsylvania.

The top 100 national prospect resides in Penn State and Pitt’s backyard, but this week he told that a recent Georgia offer has bumped Pitt from its higher perch–which is interesting consider his parents attended the school. Michigan is also considered to be high on his list, but it looks more and more like Penn State is in the slight lead with Georgia looking like the other top school on the list.

He’ll make it clearer soon. Recently, prior to his March offer from the Bulldogs, Ole Miss and Tennessee had made the cut for Sterling’s top six. Jenkins is a 6-foot-8, 305-pound offensive tackle who could develop into one whale of a blindside tackle.
