Georgia fans, if you’re interested in the ‘Pruitt Effect’, you may have just gotten your first taste.
Rico McGraw, an extremely gifted defensive back in the class of 2015, is now aboard, and Jeremy Pruitt helped. The new defensive coordinator–who helped push Florida State to a national title this past fall–has recruited the southeast since 2007. He was once at Alabama with Nick Saban, if that helps fans understand his background.
McGraw is a nice get. He is 6-foot-0, 190 pounds and could play safety or cornerback. He runs a 4.50-second time in the 40-yard dash, and is arguably the best player in the state of Tennessee–which of course is a bit of a knock for the Vols.
This is Georgia’s second addition to the 2015 class. Wide receiver Christian Owens out of Griffin (Ga.) was the first, coming aboard last April. He also is a four-star, top 150 level national prospect.
