Top QB prospects from the state of Georgia since 2008

It’s fun to look back and see which prognostications were correct and which were way off. When it comes to the state of Georgia, the recruiting rankings haven’t been far off when rating quarterbacks the last few years.

Since 2008, the No. 1 ranked quarterback coming out of Georgia has been DeShaun Watson, who just signed with Clemson in February. The next four all went to SEC schools first, including Georgia taking Brice Ramsey and Zach Mettenberger originally–before Mettenberger went the JUCO route for a year and re-emerged at LSU.

Here’s a look at the top quarterback recruits that came from the state of Georgia since 2008.
