LSU may not have half a dozen early enrollees coming in January like some SEC schools, but it certainly has some quality.
Edward Paris, a defensive back with five-star credentials, has been on board with the Tigers just about as long as anybody–and he’ll be in Baton Rouge within the next few weeks. Joining him will be quarterback Brandon Harris, a four-star signal caller who actually signed an early scholarship agreement with LSU–thanks to a new NCAA rule that allows early enrollees to ink early with their future schools. Harris is considered the future of the program, and he’ll be on campus for spring drills–a chance to get a leg up on the competition.
Both players are vital pieces of the class, and if things go the way they seem they will with the big-time announcements at the Under Armour Game, LSU might have another player or two join this group of two–depending on the situation.
