The NFL Combine is coming up at the end of the month, so many NFL analysts are putting together their initial mock drafts.

Though these drafts will likely change in the coming weeks, for now, it’s a good look at which players are getting the most buzz around the NFL.

On Tuesday, NFL.com analyst Charles Davis released his first 2018 Mock Draft, and he has 10 SEC players going in the first round:

  • No. 4 — Minkah Fitzpatrick, DB, Alabama — Cleveland Browns
  • No. 10 — Roquan Smith, LB, Georgia — Oakland Raiders
  • No. 19 — Calvin Ridley, WR, Alabama — Dallas Cowboys
  • No. 21 — Da’Ron Payne, DL, Alabama — Buffalo Bills
  • No. 24 — Christian Kirk, WR, Texas A&M — Carolina Panthers
  • No. 26 — Isaiah Wynn, OL, Georgia — Atlanta Falcons
  • No. 27 — Rashaan Evans, LB, Alabama — New Orleans Saints
  • No. 28 — Derrius Guice, RB, LSU — Pittsburgh Steelers
  • No. 31 — Ronnie Harrison, DB, Alabama — New England Patriots
  • No. 32 — Donte Jackson, DB, LSU — Philadelphia Eagles

Again, this is just a preliminary look at the draft, but it’s interesting to see five Alabama players in the mix.

Whether all of those players remain in first-round contention following the combine remains to be seen, but for now, it’s looking like another Alabama-heavy draft.
