LSU’s Leonard Fournette, Ole Miss’ Chad Kelly and Georgia’s Nick Chubb were named to NFL.com’s “16 for ’16” preseason Heisman list Wednesday.

Fournette ranked second behind Clemson quarterback Deshaun Watson. Kelly was eighth overall and the fifth highest-ranked quarterback. Chubb ranked 10th and was fifth among running backs.

Many experts have picked Fournette as one of the top 3 Heisman favorites along with Watson and Stanford’s Christian McCaffrey, who were both finalists last season. Kelly and Chubb have also been given plenty of consideration as well.

Fournette recorded 1,953 yards and 22 touchdowns in 2015, which is the most among returning SEC backs. He also averaged a conference-best 162.75 yards per game.

Kelly led all SEC quarterbacks with 4,042 yards, 31 touchdown and a 155.86 passer rating during his first season at Ole Miss after transferring last offseason.

Chubb recorded 1,547 yards and 14 touchdowns as a true freshman in 2014. He rushed for more than 100 yards in 13 consecutive games before suffering a season-ending knee injury against Tennessee last October.
