Alabama DL Jonathan Allen has been a monster for the Crimson Tide this season.

In addition to seven sacks and 11.5 tackles for loss, Allen has recovered two fumbles and returned both for touchdowns.

Meanwhile, Tennessee DE Derek Barnett has 12 sacks to lead the SEC. He’s also recorded an interception.

Due to their outstanding performances, Allen and Barnett were named two of six finalists for the Ted Hendricks Award on Saturday, according to the Hendricks Foundation.

Hunter Dimick (Utah), Harold Landry (Boston College), Ejuan Price (Pittsburgh) and DeMarcus Walker (Florida State) join Allen and Barnett as finalists for the award.

The winner will be announced on Dec. 7.
