Every week is fashion week in college football.

Week 8 provided another glimpse at new uniforms and modified ones. Some worked. Some didn’t. And some made you want to shield your eyes.

Here’s a look at the good, the bland and the downright ugly from Week 8.

The Good

Louisville

Not only did Louisville look like the best team in the ACC from a performance standpoint, it also looked like the best dressed. The Cardinals had awesome uniforms from head to toe with these threads during Saturday’s win over N.C. State.

Texas Tech

These aren’t out of the ordinary for Texas Tech, but they’re still very cool. Sometimes the primary home combo looks the best.

SMU

SMU included a pink logo on its helmet in honor of Breast Cancer Awareness month. Not only was it a cool look but it was also for a good cause. SMU then followed up with a big win over Houston.

Maryland

Maryland has tried hard to become Under Armour’s answer to Oregon. But most of its uniforms have turned out to be terrible. These, however, look awesome and provide a real threatening look.

Penn State

Nice and simple. Plus, capturing a win over an undefeated Ohio State boosts Penn State’s classic uniforms this week.

Cincinnati

The red and black combo looks excellent, as was the case with Louisville and Texas Tech. The Bearcats’ homecoming unis looked as impressive as its 31-19 win over East Carolina.

Kentucky

Here’s our SEC representative for this week. How can you not appreciate those helmets? Maybe that’s what gave Kentucky an edge against Mississippi State in Saturday’s shootout.

The Bland

Wisconsin

Meh. Too much white, not enough flavor otherwise.

Indiana

This looks almost identical to Wisconsin’s uniforms. Maybe it’s a Big Ten thing, or a primary white and red thing. But these road unis are just bland.

The Ugly

Tulane

Oh man. Look at how ugly that helmet is. Do we even have to show you the rest of the uniform?

And there it is. How is Tulane’s equipment Twitter pushing this with an assumed straight face? These are some ugly threads, but mainly because of that cartoon helmet.
