The SEC has a really, really good shot at landing its third Heisman Trophy award over the last five years come this December.

Athlon Sports published its list of legitimate candidates from the best conference in sports on Tuesday morning, ranking them No. 1-10 from most likely to win to least likely (but still a chance). As you can imagine, LSU superstar running back Leonard Fournette tops the list — but the remaining nine are up for debate.

Here’s the complete list:

The Five Clear Favorites

1. Leonard Fournette, RB, LSU
2. Chad Kelly, QB, Ole Miss
3. Jalen Hurd, RB, Tennessee
4. Nick Chubb, RB, Georgia
5. Calvin Ridley, WR, Alabama

The Next Five Candidates

6. Bo Scarbrough, RB, Alabama
7. Joshua Dobbs, QB, Tennessee
8. Brandon Harris, QB, LSU
9. Damien Harris, RB, Alabama
10. Trevor Knight, QB, Texas A&M

Three Dark Horses to Watch

  • Fred Ross, WR, Mississippi State
  • Ralph Webb, RB, Vanderbilt
  • Sony Michel, RB, Georgia

In 2015, Alabama running back Derrick Henry took home the trophy after rushing for over 2,200 yards and 28 touchdowns while leading the Crimson Tide to an SEC championship and a College Football Playoff appearance (and eventually a national title ring). Three years prior during the 2012 season, Johnny Manziel took college football by storm, claiming Texas A&M’s first Heisman since John David Crow won it in 1957.
