GameDay analyst rebuts 'SEC Bias' claims
Even ESPN college football analyst Chris Fowler, College GameDay’s host since 1990, is growing tired of the fictional nationwide epidemic known as ‘SEC bias’.

The Worldwide Leader in Sports has taken some heat in recent weeks for traveling to SEC venues with regularity for its popular weekly pre-game show. The facts are that GameDay has always broadcasted from the biggest game of the weekend and thanks to the SEC’s dominance this season with four of the AP’s current Top 5, destination decisions have been easy.
Fowler stated his case for the network on his Twitter account Tuesday, saying ESPN’s business relationship with the SEC has nothing to do with GameDay choices. He pointed out the Big Ten fanbase’s faulty claims of ‘SEC bias’ and in fact said that the network would thrive if the Big Ten was more relevant nationally:
Excited for Saturday morning AND night on the Bayou! @CollegeGameDay 10th trip to LSU campus, @KirkHerbstreit and I call #MISSvsLSU

B1G fans convinced SEC coverage traced to company business: NOTHING would boost abc/ESPN CFB biz more than a dominant B1G. Nothing. Trust me
