Earlier this morning, ESPN ranked the top-25 offensive triplets for the 2016 season. The SEC may be known more for its defense, but six schools made ESPN’s list. *ESPN Insider*

No. 7 LSU

Triplet: QB Brandon Harris, Jr.; RB Leonard Fournette, Jr.; WR Malachi Dupre, Jr.

ESPN’s Travis Haney explained why the Tigers ranked as the SEC’s highest.

“Fournette is the big-ticket item for the Tigers, and everyone knows it,” Haney said. “However, LSU desperately needs Harris to progress to keep defenses honest against the run. Going back to high school, our recruiting analysts noted that Harris had a huge arm; it’s simply a matter of comprehension and decision-making, which should be second nature for any competent third-year passer.

“Harris isn’t lacking in weapons, not with a specimen such as Dupre, who flirted with a breakout season in 2015 (698 yards, six touchdowns). Coaches who recruited him believe he has the ability on the level of former Tigers receivers Odell Beckham Jr. and Jarvis Landry; it’s up to Harris to do his part to unlock Dupre’s potential.”

It’s amazing the power Fournette has, as an unproven quarterback and an up-and-coming pass-catcher make up the SEC’s most talented offensive trio according to ESPN, alongside the potential future Heisman Trophy-winning running back.

The rest of the SEC’s triplets are listed below:

No. 10 Georgia: QB Jacob Eason, Fr; RB Nick Chubb, Jr; RB Sony Michel, Jr.

No. 14 Tennessee: QB Joshua Dobbs, Sr; RB Jalen Hurd, Jr; RB Alvin Kamara, Jr.

No. 17 Ole Miss: QB Chad Kelly, Sr; WR Damore’ea Stringfellow, Jr; TE Evan Engram, Sr.

No. 20 Alabama: QB Blake Barnett, Fr; RB Bo Scarbrough, Soph; WR Calvin Ridley, Soph.

No. 22 Texas A&M: QB Trevor Knight, Sr; WR Christian Kirk, Soph; WR Ricky Seals-Jones, Jr.
