On Wednesday, ESPN released its list of the top 50 players in all of college football.

The list was compiled by 10 writers using a 1-10 grading scale based upon performance through the first four games of the year.

To no one’s surprise, Louisville quarterback Lamar Jackson and Stanford running back Christian McCaffrey find themselves atop the list as the top-two players in the ranking.

From an SEC standpoint, there’s considerable representation. 15 players made the cut — which equates to 30-percent of the top-50 coming from the conference.

Four SEC players made the top-10 — with the entire quartet playing along the defensive line.

Texas A&M DE Myles Garrett registers as the No. 3 player in the country — followed by Alabama defensive lineman Jonathan Allen (No. 6), LSU defensive end Arden Key (No. 7), and Tennessee DL Derek Barnett (No. 10).

The rest of the ranking includes Ole Miss TE Evan Engram (No. 16), Alabama DB Eddie Jackson (No. 18), Auburn DE Carl Lawson (No. 20), Florida DB Teez Tabor (No. 22), LSU RB Leonard Fournette (No. 24), LSU DB Tre’Davious White (No. 26), Alabama WR Calvin Ridley (No. 29), Ole Miss QB Chad Kelly (No. 32), Georgia RB Nick Chubb (No. 38), Texas A&M WR Josh Reynolds (No. 40), and Ole Miss DL Marquis Haynes (No. 42).
