Brian Urlacher is old school. He’s not into dabbing, whipping, nay naying or any of those.

With that said, the former Chicago Bears linebacker doesn’t like Cam Newton’s touchdown celebrations. He told USA Today that much, while saying he should be more like his Super Bowl QB counterpart.

“I played defense so I don’t like when guys celebrate with dances and stuff. You know who I like the way he celebrates is Peyton (Manning). He kind of gives the guy a handshake and goes back to the sidelines. I think that’s a great celebration right there,” Urlacher said.

“You don’t see him dancing. You don’t see him doing all of that stuff. Even when he gets a first down he doesn’t do anything.”

Urlacher had plenty to celebrate in an NFL career that saw him go to eight Pro Bowls while being named a First-Team All-Pro four times.
