Former Missouri quarterback Maty Mauk had a few things to get off his chest on his way out.

Mauk, who was permanently dismissed from the team earlier today, penned a statement regarding his dismissal and his future.

Mauk’s dismissal came after new coach Barry Odom indefinitely suspended the school’s former starting quarterback after a video surfaced online late Monday night that shows someone that looks like Mauk snorting a line of white powder.

However, Odom said in the statement revealing Mauk’s dismissal that the decision came from Mauk “violating team rules in recent weeks,” and it was not related to that incident. Odom also mentioned that he believes that video is from “a long time ago.”

Mauk’s departure comes a day after it was reported that backup QB Eddie Printz would be transferring. Now, Missouri is left with two scholarship quarterbacks in Drew Lock, who will be a sophomore next season, and Marvin Zanders, who will be a redshirt sophomore.

Micah Wilson, a dual-threat QB in the Class of 2016, is a three-star prospect who’s committed to Missouri.
