College football fans were clearly excited by the Week 1 schedule this season.

After a long offseason, opening weekend featured one of the best slates of games fans have ever seen to start a season.

Texas’s wild win against Notre Dame received a boost, as did Ole Miss’s collapse against Florida State, by being played on Sunday and Monday, respectively.

Meanwhile, Alabama’s opening weekend drubbing of USC came in at No. 6, but was dwarfed by Notre Dame-Texas:

Alabama-Ole Miss and LSU-Wisconsin (another opening weekend game) checked in as the other SEC games that made the cut.

With No. 1 Alabama taking on No. 6 Texas A&M on Saturday afternoon, we’ll have to see if there’s a new SEC addition to the list next week.
