With the 2017 NFL Draft rapidly approaching, there will be a bonanza of mock drafts flying around left and right.

Daniel Jeremiah of NFL.com recently published his second mock draft installment. Jeremiah based this 2.0 version on watching more tape of the eligible prospects. Two college all-star games have also taken place. The stocks of some players have risen and dropped as a result.

Texas A&M defender Myles Garrett is listed as the No. 1 selection in this draft. Let’s face it, the Cleveland Browns need talent all across the field. With no quarterback popping out as an obvious selection, it would behoove the Browns to take the best player available.

Garrett is an elite athlete, and his ability to get after quarterbacks off the edge makes him an obvious choice.

After that, Jeremiah has SEC players going 3-6, starting with Alabama DL Jonathan Allen to the Chicago Bears at No. 3. The defender was arguably the best player on the collegiate level this past season, and has great positional versatility as it pertains to the defensive front.

Jamal Adams makes sense at No. 4 for the Jacksonville Jaguars. The LSU safety is rangy, physical, and is a supremely heady player. He’s big enough to come up in run support and pop running backs, and is athletic enough to cover speedy receivers in space.

Jeremiah has Alabama middle ‘backer Reuben Foster slated to go No. 5 for the Tennessee Titans. Foster would be walking into a very good situation — as the Titans are poised to potentially win the AFC South in 2017.

The New York Jets are in need of star on the offensive side of the ball. As such, why not bring LSU running back Leonard Fournette to Broadway with the No. 6 pick? The physical freak is easily ready to combat the rigors of the NFL. When healthy, he made SEC defenders look foolish on a regular basis, and would provide the Jets with a true star-in-the-making.

Outside of the aforementioned quintet, Jeremiah has Florida DB Quincy Wilson at No. 11 to New Orleans, Alabama TE O.J. Howard at No. 12 to Cleveland, Tennessee RB Alvin Kamara at No. 19 to Tampa Bay, Tennessee DE Derek Barnett at No. 22 to Miami, LSU DB Tre’Davious White at No. 24 to Oakland, Alabama DB Marlon Humphrey at No. 26 to Seattle, and Mizzou DE Charles Harris at No. 28 to Dallas.
