Nation's No. 1 athlete lists six SEC schools in top 10

Will the nation’s No. 1 overall athlete play in the SEC?

Five-star prospect Mecole Hardman Jr. lists six SEC programs in his top 10. The Elberton, Georgia, native has Alabama, Auburn, Florida, Georgia, Ole Miss and Tennessee in the top 10, along with Miami (FLA), Oklahoma, Stanford and Michigan, and you can watch him reveal his finalists in this Bleacher Report video.

The 5-10, 175-pound prospect is ranked as the county’s top overall athlete, the No. 27 overall prospect and the state of Georgia’s No. 3 prospect, according to 247Sports’ Composite Rankings.

Georgia and Tennessee seem to be the two schools trending for Hardman right now. Of course, it’s recruiting, and things can totally change tomorrow.
