Nick Saban doesn’t want to talk about leaving Alabama. Even more than that, he doesn’t want to talk about leaving the game altogether.

On a televised press conference on Tuesday, the 64-year-old didn’t want to talk about going to the NFL to coach the Indianapolis Colts, staying in college to coach Texas or retreating to his couch to call it quits.

“I’ve been a part of a team since I was 9 years old, and it scares me to think there’s a time I won’t be a part of a team anymore,” Saban said, according to Alex Byington of the TimesDaily Newspaper.

Giving the NFL a shot is one thing, but it’s hard for one to imagine Saban coaching at any other school in the college ranks.

Regardless, Saban was reluctant to give any indication on when his coaching days would be up, something fans (and frankly, coaches) across the country would surely like to know.
