Believe it or not, we do read the comments.

Avid readers of this weekly Friday column from yours truly have been complaining recently that my predictions aren’t bold enough.

So here goes …

Here’s one bold prediction for every SEC game during the fourth Saturday of the college football season:

Southern at Georgia — The underdogs not only cover the 58-point spread in Athens, but they stop Greyson Lambert’s consecutive completions streak by picking off a pass in the first quarter — not that it will amount to much.

LSU at Syracuse — Star receivers Travin Dural and Malachi Dupre have yet to find the end zone this season for the Tigers. I think both score inside the Carrier Dome to highlight a big afternoon from quarterback Brandon Harris.

UCF at South Carolina — Jon Hoke’s first-team defense, despite consecutive embarrassing performances, takes advantage of a struggling unit on the other side of the football and holds the Knights without a touchdown to cruise at home.

Louisiana-Monroe at Alabama — Three different Alabama quarterbacks throw touchdown passes, further complicating Nick Saban’s decision under center heading into Week 5.

Tennessee at Florida — A no-show early this season with just four catches for 38 yards, Vols junior wideout Marquez North records only the second 100-yard game of his career as Tennessee snaps a 10-game losing skid against the Gators.

Texas A&M vs. Arkansas — Alex Collins rushes for over 100 yards during the first three quarters and the Razorbacks put a scare into the Aggies before a late touchdown squanders what many would consider an upset at AT&T Stadium.

Vanderbilt at Ole Miss — The Rebels hit the 70-point mark for the third time in four … Seriously though, Vanderbilt plays keep away with a balanced attack for an improving offense but the talent differential on both sides of the ball proves too great in the final frame. Ole Miss by two scores.

Missouri at Kentucky — The nation’s leader in tackles for losses, the Tigers sack Patrick Towles five times, force three turnovers and win an ugly football game on the road.

Mississippi State at Auburn — Gasp! Duke Williams finally shows up as one of the league’s top players in 2015 and has a 125-yard, two-touchdown game to highlight Sean White’s debut as Auburn’s new starting quarterback. Will that result in a win? That depends on Will Muschamp’s defense vs. Dak.
