Photo: Fox News messes up Steve Spurrier's legendary nickname
Steve Spurrier is known by many as the “Head Ball Coach,” but apparently Fox News didn’t get the memo. During an interview promoting his new book Head Ball Coach: My Life in Football, the network showed Spurrier with the caption “Head Game Coach.”

While it’s a big enough mistake to mess up Spurrier’s nickname alone, it’s magnified by the fact that it was also the title of the book he was promoting. During the interview, Spurrier touched on a number of topics including his playing and coaching career, his return to the University of Florida as an ambassador to the football program and how he’d handle the Colin Kaepernick controversy.
Spurrier retired from coaching midway through the 2015 season. He finished with a 228-89-2 head coaching record, including 131 SEC wins, which is second in conference history.
