It’s time for some expert predictions for Week 5 in the SEC.

There are eight games involving SEC teams this week, so let’s take a look at projected outcomes for Saturday’s matchups, according to four different media outlets — USA TODAY, Athlon Sports, Bleacher Report and FBSchedules.

SEC PICKS BY USA TODAY COLUMNIST DAN WOLKEN

  • Alabama over Kentucky
  • Texas A&M over South Carolina
  • Tennessee over Georgia
  • Ole Miss over Memphis
  • Florida over Vanderbilt
  • Arkansas over Alcorn State

Note: This week’s SEC lineup might be a little easier to pick as Dan’s projected winners are set to face teams with a combined 13-9 record with Memphis (3-0) serving as the only unbeaten. He’s going with all favorites, and it’s probably going to work out just fine for him.

SEC PICKS BY ATHLON SPORTS EDITOR STEVEN LASSAN

  • Alabama over Kentucky
  • Texas A&M over South Carolina
  • LSU over Missouri
  • Tennessee over Georgia
  • Ole Miss over Memphis
  • Auburn over UL-Monroe
  • Florida over Vanderbilt
  • Arkansas over Alcorn State

Note: A win for LSU on Saturday would give Ed Orgeron a 7-2 record as an interim coach, and his first victory against Missouri (0-2 as head coach for Ole Miss). But if he can get the passing game to look like anything that resembles an effective offensive unit, LSU will find the confidence needed to stay comeptitive in a fierce SEC West division.

SEC PICKS BY BLEACHER REPORT COLUMNIST BRIAN PEDERSEN

  • Florida 26, Vanderbilt 13
  • Arkansas 57, Alcorn State 16
  • Georgia 24, Tennessee 20
  • Auburn 42, UL-Monroe 13
  • Texas A&M 29, South Carolina 15
  • Alabama 59, Kentucky 10
  • Ole Miss 40, Memphis 20
  • LSU 34, Missouri 22

Note: Here’s Brian on his prediction for a Tennessee loss (that would assuredly set fire to VolNation on Twitter):

Tennessee exorcised its Florida demons with help from its opponent’s implosion, but it can’t expect Georgia to do the same. Not after the Bulldogs got worked at Ole Miss, 45-14. They are in need of a quick rebound to stop their season from going off the rails. The SEC East will remain wide open after this one.

SEC PICKS BY FBSCHEDULES WRITER ERIC TAYLOR

  • Arkansas 44, Alcorn State 10
  • Florida 31, Vanderbilt 3
  • Auburn 24, UL-Monroe 7
  • Tennessee 34, Georgia 21
  • Texas A&M 41, South Carolina 6
  • Alabama 34, Kentucky 7
  • Ole Miss 49, Memphis 20
  • Missouri 28, LSU 17

Note: Beating South Carolina would give Texas A&M its third straight 5-0 start to a season. That sounds great and all, but the Aggies have also sputtered to back-to-back 8-5 finishes despite dominating the first half of the regular season schedule. However, as Eric points out, there’s just something “different” about this 2016 team — they give off that specific “it” factor. Another strong performance in Columbia would be just the next step before hosting No. 11 Tennessee and then facing No. 1 Alabama on the road in Week 8.
