This week is filled with cupcakes and high stakes. There are a couple of colossal clashes in the SEC East, as Georgia visits Tennessee and unbeaten Florida travels to Missouri. Meanwhile, fresh off its rout of Georgia, Alabama has another chance to flex its SEC West muscle, this time against Arkansas.

There are six games involving SEC teams this week, so let’s take a look at projected final scores for Saturday’s conference matchups, according to four different media outlets — tennessean.com, Bleacher Report, chattanoogan.com and Fox Sports.

SEC PICKS BY TENNESSEAN COLUMNIST DAVE AMMENHEUSER

Ole Miss 49, New Mexico State 7
LSU 38, South Carolina 14
Georgia 31, Tennessee 24
Mississippi State 40, Troy 14
Alabama 34, Arkansas 20
Florida 28, Missouri 14

Note: Here are the most telling observations. Ammenheuser likes Florida not only to win but to cruise by two touchdowns. The Gators are favored by a little more than a touchdown. He thinks Alabama will win, but not cover, but likes Georgia and LSU to win and cover. Be careful with the cupcakes; Ammenheuser sees Ole Miss and Mississippi State feasting on their respective opponents but not covering.

SEC PICKS BY BLEACHER REPORT

Ole Miss 67, New Mexico State 13
LSU 27, South Carolina 17
Tennessee 28, Georgia 24
Mississippi State 39, Troy 16
Alabama 31, Arkansas 14
Missouri 24, Florida 20

Note: A couple of results jump out here. Bleacher Report predicts that home underdogs Tennessee and Missouri will win their games outright. Also, it has South Carolina staying relatively close with LSU. The Tigers are favored by nearly 3 TDs.

SEC PICKS BY CHATTANOOGAN.COM’S RANDY SMITH

Alabama 30,  Arkansas 17
Missouri 23, Florida 21
LSU 34, South Carolina 17
Ole Miss 48,  New Mexico State 10
Mississippi State 45, Troy 14
Georgia 31, Tennessee 24

Note: There is only one telling result here. Smith likes Missouri to win outright at Florida and hand the Gators their first loss. The rest of his predictions are all chalk.

SEC PICKS BY FOX SPORTS

LSU 32, South Carolina 25
Mississippi State 32, Troy 23
Georgia 29, Tennessee 24
Alabama 28, Arkansas 23
Florida 26, Missouri 22

Notes: Each game in Fox Sports’ predictions is simulated 101 times, so these scores may actually turn out to be quite accurate. No New Mexico State-Ole Miss score is available, but of the remaining games, all except Mississippi State’s matchup with Troy are expected to be one-score games.
