SEC Week 10 prop bets:

HOW MANY PASSING YARDS FOR TREON HARRIS?

Options — 100 or less; 101 to 150; 151 to 200; 201 or more

Projection: The spotlight’s on true freshman Florida quarterback Treon Harris Saturday afternoon in Jacksonville as he tries to ignite Kurt Roper’s offense against Georgia. Ineffective with Jeff Driskel under center, the Gators made the move to the more athletic Harris in hopes of providing a spark to an anemic unit through the air. Will Muschamp’s fate could be decided against a team he’s never beaten since arriving at Florida, so expect the Gators to play with emotion in this rivalry matchup. Georgia’s giving up 215.4 passing yards per game this season, but we’ll take the under thanks to a defense that will pressure the Gators’ inexperienced quarterback throughout. We’re going with 165 yards passing, a touchdown and an interception for Harris.

SOUTH CAROLINA’S TOTAL SACKS VS. TENNESSEE

Options — 1 or fewer; 2; 3; 4; 5 or more

Projection: The SEC’s worst defensive front vs. the SEC’s worst offense live. Something has to give, right? Tennessee’s struggled up front thanks to inexperience, giving up 10 more sacks (32.0) than their nearest competitor in the SEC. Constant pressure from the opposition’s led to 16 turnovers, tied with Florida for second-most giveaways in the East. Perhaps South Carolina’s all-black uniforms will fire up a unit that’s only managed eight sacks through eight games. The Gamecocks have won three straight against Tennessee in Columbia and a sack-and-strip is what clinched their last victory over the Vols in 2012. Two sacks against Josh Dobbs, a quarterback who will be on the run more often than not, seems like a fair guess.
