We’re beginning to meet that portion of the schedule where teams must bring it each week and anything can happen.

There are some huge conference games for the SEC in Week 10, and SDS is going to break down who’s savoring the spotlight.

SEC East

Georgia vs. Florida (Jacksonville): It’s the World’s Largest Outdoor Cocktail Party, and the story of these two teams couldn’t be more opposite. Georgia comes in on a roll even without its star running back; Nick Chubb has carried the load, and that defense is beginning to find its identity and play well. Florida, however, is limping into Jacksonville off a bye week. There have been calls for Will Muschamp’s job, and a change at quarterback will look to spark the Gators. Freshman Treon Harris gets the start.

Tennessee at South Carolina: Two teams looking to get back in the win column meet inside Williams-Brice Stadium. South Carolina comes in off an impressive offensive performance, and is on pace for a record-setting season offensively. Tennessee head coach Butch Jones has not announced who he will start at quarterback after sophomore Joshua Dobbs had an impressive game against Alabama last week. Can A.J. Johnson and company slow down the Gamecocks offense?

SEC West

Auburn at Ole Miss: The eyes of the college football world will be on Oxford, Mississippi as No. 3 Auburn travels to take on No. 4 Ole Miss. The Rebels are looking to bounce back from its first loss, and a seven-point effort in Baton Rouge last weekend. Auburn’s defense took a step back last week, allowing 35 points to South Carolina, and the Tigers face the toughest test offensively yet. Both teams need a win; who escapes?

Arkansas at Mississippi State: Bret Bielema’s team heads to Starkville searching for its first win in SEC play in almost two years. The Bulldogs return home to play its first game at Davis-Wade Stadium as the nation’s No. 1 team. Josh Robinson bulldozed Mississippi State to a win last week against Kentucky. Can the Hogs hang around late?
