And just like that, the regular season comes to an end in the SEC. We’ve pointed out the highs and the lows throughout the course of these 13 weeks, and we’re back to do it one last time.

Who ended their regular season with one last hurrah? And who tragically frittered away the remaining moments of 2015?

Here’s our list for Week 13:

WHO’S HOT

  • Alabama and its crimson jewel, Derrick Henry. Even Ohio State RB Ezekiel Elliot was jealous of Henry’s record-breaking performance against Auburn on Saturday, and we can understand why. Henry carried the ball a school-record 46 times and rushed for an Iron Bowl record of 271 yards. Add in QB Jake Coker’s elusiveness at key moments and a defense that was able to completely shut down Auburn’s run game in the second half and the Tide were too tough to be beaten. Now it’s on top the SEC Championship Game and then the playoffs.
  • Tennessee’s offense and run game. The Volunteers ended the regular season with a show of force. RB Alvin Kamara reemerged as a fantastic weapon on offense, both on the ground and as a receiver. Both RB Jalen Hurd and QB Joshua Dobbs also hurt Vanderbilt on the ground using their legs. After much early-season heartbreak, Tennessee still finishes with a 8-4 record and has much to look forward to in 2016 after a five-game winning streak.
  • Chad Kelly and the Rebels finish the season with style. Ole Miss had a few disappointments in 2015 but the Rebels finished with a flurry Saturday night in the Egg Bowl. Chad Kelly surpassed Eli Manning as the school’s single-season passing leader in yardage, and it won’t stop there. Hugh Freeze is convinced that his team’s 9-3 record is good enough to vaunt Ole Miss into a high-level bowl game, probably the Sugar Bowl. No matter what bowl game the Rebels are invited to, there’s still more yardage to be gained for Kelly and his vaunted receiving corps.

WHO’S NOT

  • Florida’s offense. The Gators offense reached a new level of embarrassing against their in-state rival on Saturday. If it wasn’t for Florida’s defense forcing a fumble in the end zone that resulted in a safety, the Gators would have been shut out at home. Up next for them is the SEC Championship Game and an Alabama team that has been the hottest team in the country for a good two months. The Gators could be in store for a beating even worse than the one given by Florida State.
  • The Kentucky Wildcats. So close, yet so far. The Wildcats came out of the tunnel focused and motivated to snatch that sixth win and bowl eligibility, jumping out to a 21-0 lead. But everything completely changed during the second half. Not only was Kentucky shut out, but Louisville proceeded to score 31 unanswered points. For a season that promised so much more, to end this way is a real shame.
  • Dak Prescott and his Bulldogs. Dak Prescott didn’t want to go out this way against Ole Miss in the Egg Bowl. He fumbled away the ball and had a pick-six, which contributed to a huge 21-0 Ole Miss lead by the end of the first quarter. By the time Mississippi State started mounting a comeback, it was too little, too late. The Rebels defense was able to sack Prescott seven times and held him to only 63 yards on the ground.
