With eight matchups involving Southeastern Conference teams on today’s schedule (Missouri and Arkansas played on Friday afternoon), here’s a list of the players to watch (all kickoff times are for Eastern Standard Time):

NOON ET, NO. 1 CLEMSON AT SOUTH CAROLINA, CBS

Pharoh Cooper, WR, South Carolina

This will likely be Cooper’s last collegiate game as the Gamecocks are not bowl eligible and the junior by all accounts will be in the NFL next season. His team is coming off of a disappointing loss to The Citadel, but, as he usually does, Cooper turned in a great performance with 11 receptions for 191 yards and a touchdown. He’ll be going up against a very tough Clemson secondary.

NOON ET, GEORGIA AT GEORGIA TECH, ESPN2

Sony Michel, RB, Georgia

The Bulldogs rushing attack hasn’t been the same since losing Nick Chubb to a season-ending injury. But Michel has done a decent job since taking over as the starter and is coming off a 132-yard performance last week against Georgia Southern. Michel also scored his sixth rushing touchdown of the season in that game. Georgia Southern’s rushing defense actually ranks higher than Georgia Tech’s though, so this could be another chance for Michel to thrive.

NOON ET, LOUISVILLE AT KENTUCKY, SEC NETWORK

Jason Hatcher, LB/DE, Kentucky

Hatcher has played against the Cardinals twice in his career, but the Louisville native has yet to have a big game against them, totaling just six tackles in the two outings combined. But after returning from a high ankle sprain that sidelined him for a few weeks, Hatcher is playing well and coming off a game against Charlotte with four tackles and a sack. His pass rushing ability will be at a premium against Louisville QB Kyle Bolin, who is playing at a high level since taking over the starting job.

3:30 P.M. ET, NO. 2 ALABAMA AT AUBURN, CBS

Jake Coker, QB, Alabama

Although he’s a senior, this will be Coker’s first start in an Iron Bowl game against the Crimson Tide’s hated in-state rival, Coker has become more efficient over the last few weeks and seems to realize how valuable Derrick Henry is in the backfield. Because of the Crimson Tide’s strong run game, Coker is just asked to manage games and protect the football. He’ll have to do so against an Auburn defense that has been been up and down all season and allowed 34 points to Idaho last week.

4 P.M. ET, VANDERBILT AT TENNESSEE, SEC NETWORK

Jalen Reeves-Maybin, LB, Tennessee

Reeves-Maybin is the definition of a ball-hawk and leads the Volunteers defense in tackles with 96, which is fifth in the SEC. He also has a nose for the backfield with four sacks and 12 tackle for loss. Against a Vanderbilt offense that struggles to do anything, Reeves-Maybin could be in for yet another big game.

7:15 P.M. ET, NO. 18 OLE MISS AT NO. 21 MISSISSIPPI STATE, ESPN2

Taveze Calhoun, CB, Mississippi State

Calhoun will have the tall task over covering Rebels All-American wide receiver Laquon Treadwell. After getting off to a bit of a slow start this season, Treadwell has been on a tear, scoring a touchdown in six straight games. He has also gained at least 100 receiving yards in five of those six games. Calhoun is the Bulldogs’ best cover corner, but the senior has only two interceptions this season. He must play well to neutralize Treadwell.

7:30 P.M. ET, NO. 13 FLORIDA STATE AT NO. 12 FLORIDA, ESPN

Treon Harris, QB, Florida

Harris needs to be better than just OK to beat a very talented Florida State team. Harris struggled at times against Florida Atlantic last week and the Seminoles defense will present much more of a challenge. Gators coach Jim McElwain might have to get creative with his offense and take advantage of Harris’ legs. Can Harris use his mobility to make a few plays out of the pocket and spark the Florida offense?

7:30 P.M. ET, TEXAS A&M AT LSU, SEC NETWORK

Leonard Fournette, RB, LSU

Remember when they were talking about how the rule for when you’re eligible to enter the NFL Draft should be changed just because of how dominant Fournette looked at the college level through half of the season? And remember when he was a shoe-in to win the Heisman Trophy? But a three-game skid by the Tigers have changed the hoopla surrounding Fournette. Still, the Aggies 105th-ranked rushing defense gives Fournette a good chance to make a strong statement to close out a great season.
