After every weekend of SEC action, Dari Nowkhah is among the SEC Network analysts who rank the teams from No. 1 to No. 14.

Nowkhah shuffled Texas A&M, Auburn and LSU from a week ago as the Aggies jumped into one of the more difficult slots to pick, the No. 3 team in the SEC.

Kentucky’s disappointing performance at Mississippi State dropped the Wildcats two spots in Nowkhah’s rankings, as the Bulldogs remained in the sixth slot.

It took that kind of defeat to bump the likes of Ole Miss and Missouri above the Wildcats despite their uneven seasons.

In some people’s minds, ranking the bottom of the SEC is about as easy as the top two teams. And that may be why Arkansas, Vanderbilt and Tennessee remained in the cellar this week following blowout losses and a bye week.

With a busier schedule on tap this week and many bye weeks in the rearview mirror, the rankings after Week 9 should be even more interesting.
