Even though three teams had the week off, the SEC saw plenty of tumult on Saturday. LSU was the least penalized team in its home loss to Mississippi State, while Alabama (11) and Missouri (10) both drew double-digit yellow hankies, which can’t make either Nick Saban and Gary Pinkel happy. Through three weeks, Butch Jones and his Tennessee Volunteers are  conference’s least-penalized team in both total flags and yards penalized, although they’ve only played three games, while their in-state foe Vanderbilt is last in both flags and yards penalized in Derek Mason’s first year.
