Let’s take a look at how former SEC players stacked up in the NFL this weekend.

OFFENSE

  • QB Matthew Stafford — After a start he most likely wants to forget, the Georgia product has bounced back. His Thanksgiving Day performance was outstanding, leading the Lions to a 45-14 victory over the Eagles with 337 yards, five touchdowns and no interceptions.
  • WR Jarvis Landry — The former LSU product continues to thrive on the biggest stage. He had 13 receptions for 165 yards and a TD against the Jets on Sunday.
  • RB Spencer Ware — Let’s face it, LSU puts guys into the pros and they perform at a high level. The Chiefs have suffered injuries at running back, giving Ware a chance. He had 114 yards and a TD in a win over Buffalo.
  • WR Odell Beckham — Another former LSU star, Beckham had nine receptions, 142 yards and another ridiculous touchdown catch. We all know about the one handed snag, but this one is up there with the best of them.

  • WR Amari Cooper – Any SEC fan knew that Cooper would shine at the next level, whether they are an Alabama fan or not. It seems like he has a big game each week and yesterday was no exception. Cooper hauled in 7 catches for 115 yards as the Raiders beat the Titans.
  • WR Jeremy Maclin — The former Mizzou standout made nine catches for 160 yards and one TD in the Kansas City Chiefs’ 30-22 victory over Buffalo.

DEFENSE

  • DT Geno Atkins – We might as well just add him to the list every week. The former Georgia star added another sack against St. Louis on Sunday.
  • LB Rolando McClain – There haven’t been many bright spots in Dallas this season, but McClain has been one of them. The former Alabama star had 12 tackles on Thanksgiving Day.
