With six SEC teams hosting opponents in Week 7, several highly sought after high school prospects attended the games of schools that are heavily involved in their recruitment.

It’s common for recruits to tweet out photos or videos while on their visits, and SDS decided to take a look at some of the key trips from Week 7.

Despite losing at home to Alabama 41-23 over the weekend, Texas A&M was sure to take advantage of its matchup with a fellow top-10 team as far as recruiting goes.

The Aggies not only hosted the Crimson Tide, they also had several big-time commits and prospects in College Station over the weekend.

Texas A&M’s 2017 quarterback commit Tate Martell posted this picture of himself with several other high school visitors on Twitter.

Martell’s teammate at Bishop Gorman High School in Las Vegas, four-star wide receiver Tyjon Lindsey was also in attendance and shared a video on Twitter of the game day crowd in College Station. Lindsey is one of the top players at his position in the 2017 class and is still undecided on where he will play at the next level.

Tyler Simmons was another talented wide receiver that Texas A&M had on campus for the Alabama game. The Georgia native also shared a photo of the Aggies’ 12th man.

LSU had probably the biggest weekend of visits as the Tigers welcomed many of their top targets to the game in Baton Rouge against Florida. Saivon Smith is a five-star cornerback that is already committed to LSU’s 2016 class. He was at the Tigers’ thrilling 35-28 win over the Gators, and his father took this photo of him and LSU prospects Shavar Manuel (offensive tackle), Greg Little (defensive end) and Rahshaun Smith (outside linebacker).

Clearly, Smith would like the other recruits in this photo to join him in Baton Rouge for what could be a special class. Smith also posted this photo of himself with current LSU running back and Heisman frontrunner Leonard Fournette.

The Tigers also did their best to impress one of the top cornerback recruits in the 2017 class, William Poole III. Poole is undecided on which school he will attend as of now, but the Georgia native appeared to be having a good time in Baton Rouge this weekend. This is him with LSU’s defensive backs coach Corey Raymond and defensive end Arden Key.

Mississippi State fell behind early to Louisiana Tech, which might have had the Bulldogs coaches nervous about the performance that was on display for visiting recruits. But Mississippi State went on to bust the game open against the non-conference opponent and went on to win 45-20. Four-star defensive end Emmit Gooden was on hand in Starkville for the experience. Gooden is one of the Bulldogs’ top defensive targets for their 2016 class, but he is currently undeclared.
