With four SEC teams hosting opponents in Week 9 (Florida and Georgia played at a neutral site), several highly sought after high school prospects attended the games of schools that are heavily involved in their recruitment.

It’s common for recruits to tweet out photos or videos while on their visits, and SDS decided to take a look at some of the key trips from Week 9.

Alabama, LSU, Mississippi State and Missouri were all on bye weeks, so it wasn’t the busiest weekend for recruiting visits. However, Arkansas not only hosted a prospect it had been targeting, they also received another commitment for their 2016 class.

Arkansas put up 63 points on Tennessee-Martin and three-star linebacker Jordan Carmouche was on hand to watch. Carmouche was on his official visit to Fayetteville this weekend and tweeted this out while on the Razorbacks’ campus.

This makes the 6-foot-1, 213-pounder from Manvel, Texas, the 15th commitment for Arkansas’ 2016 recruiting class. Auburn hosted another talented 2016 linebacker during the Tigers’ 27-19 loss to Ole Miss. Four-star prospect Ben Davis has Auburn and Alabama as two schools at the top of his list and posed for this photo before the game with Tigers coach Gus Malzahn.

Several players that have already committed to schools also showed up to show their support this weekend. Florida received a commitment from four-star defensive end Antonneous Clayton last week, but he was at this weekend’s game in Jacksonville between the Bulldogs and Gators purely as a spectator and not on an official or unofficial visit. Clayton posted this picture of himself on Twitter with former Florida pass rusher Dante Fowler, who now plays for the Jacksonville Jaguars.

Speaking of recruits that are already committed, Kentucky hosted two of its future quarterbacks in the Wildcats’ 52-21 loss to Tennessee. Both 2016 commit Gunnar Hoak and 2017 pledge Mac Jones were in Lexington and took this photo together at the game.
