The past decade has been the unquestioned Golden Age for the SEC, as the conference has claimed eight of 10 national championships, including seven consecutive until Florida State ended the run in 2013, to stake its supremacy over the rest of the nation.

Florida started the unprecedented run, winning BCS national championships in 2006 and 2008, but Alabama has essentially owned college football as of late. With a thrilling 45-40 win over Clemson in the 2016 College Football Playoff championship game, the Crimson Tide boasts a staggering four national titles in the past seven years.

But Alabama is hardly alone in having enjoyed its best seasons as of late. Here’s a look at the best seasons for each school over the past 10 years.
