The frenzy is over, SEC fans. Another National Signing Day whet our appetite with suspense before serving up the usual flips and surprises that we’ve grown accustomed to as this day generates more buzz each year.

Now, it’s time to take a look at the SEC’s 50 highest-rated prospects and where they signed.

Keep in mind, there were three uncommitted players within these ranks at the time this story was published (No. 14 Demetris Robinson, WR; No. 25 Caleb Kelly, OLB; No. 101 Auston Robertson, WDE).

For the first time since Matt Barkley went to USC, a span of six years, the SEC failed to lure the top-rated propsect. In fact, the top two prospects — DTs Rashan Gary (Michigan) and Dexter Lawrence (Clemson) will be playing elsewhere.

However, the SEC still cleaned up like no conference out there yet again. The SEC secured half of the top 10, 16 of the top 30 (identical to 2015) and 23 of the top 50 nationally. The 50th-ranked prospect on this list, LSU four-star WR Stephen Sullivan, is ranked 122nd in the country. That means of those top 122, the SEC claimed about 41 percent of them.

Here are the top 50 with national rank to the left. Then, take a look below this chart for a breakdown of how many of the top 50 players each SEC school signed.
