Here’s a look at the SEC’s top position groups by team from Week 3:

QUARTERBACKS  — Ole Miss: Bo Wallace, the SEC’s active leader in yards, touchdowns, completions and attempts, is developing into one of the nation’s most efficient passers as a senior with an FBS-best 75.5 completion percentage. He’s one of four SEC quarterbacks averaging more than 300 yards per game through the air and added four more touchdown passes to his total over the weekend.

RUNNING BACKS — Arkansas: For the second consecutive week, the Razorbacks’ ground game manhandled the competition, rushing for 438 yards on 68 carries — including the final 29 plays — at Texas Tech. Arkansas held the football 40 minutes, keeping the Red Raiders’ pass-heavy offense off the field with 32 first downs. Alex Collins and Jonathan Williams combined for six rushing touchdowns.

WIDE RECEIVERS — Texas A&M: True freshman Speedy Noil scored his first career touchdown, both of JUCO transfer Josh Reynolds’ receptions went for scores and senior Malcome Kennedy continued his strong start with eight catches for 88 yards. Quarterback Kenny Hill became the first player in school history to throw for 1,000 yards in the first three games of a season.

OFFENSIVE LINE — South Carolina: Heralded as the program’s best unit in several decades coming into the season, the Gamecocks finally met expectations in the trenches against a physical Georgia front seven. Senior guard A.J. Cann was terrific, South Carolina rushed for 176 yards and quarterback Dylan Thompson was well-protected throughout.

DEFENSIVE LINE — Mizzou: Many questioned the Tigers’ defense heading into the season but those questions have been answered, at least up front, in the early going. Defensive linemen Shane Ray and Lucas Vincent were dominant again on Saturday, combining for four sacks and six tackles behind the line of scrimmage.

LINEBACKERS — South Carolina: Steve Spurrier challenged one of his leaders, sophomore backer Skai Moore, to play with more consistency before Saturday’s game against Georgia. Moore responded with 10-tackle effort and helped the front seven corral Heisman candidate Todd Gurley to 135 total yards on 24 touches.

DEFENSIVE BACKS — Ole Miss: Senquez Golson returned one of his two interceptions for a touchdown to headline the SEC’s best secondary. LSU limited Louisiana Monroe to 77 yards through the air but the Rebels get the edge thanks to turnovers and another defensive score.
