Since its inception, the SEC has had many of the greatest coaches in all of college football. Among those greats, who has brought home the most award hardware?

Several school, like Alabama, Auburn and Tennessee, have had multiple coaches take home significant coach of the year honors. In the SEC’s history, just one coach — Auburn’s Gus Malzahn — has taken home the biggest awards for both assistant and head coaches, while only two coaches, Bear Bryant and Nick Saban, have won COY honors at multiple schools.
