‘Tis the season.

Preseason All-American teams are starting to pop up around the country, and Sporting News is the most recent entity to release them. Nine total SEC players made the cut on the first team, with seven of the nine playing in the SEC West, and it includes the usual suspects.

Incredibly, the SEC has the best defensive ends in the country, according to the first and second teams. All four positions are taken by SEC players.

Alabama and LSU each recorded three players on the first-team Preseason All-American list. Here are the players included from the SEC:
