Elite 2017 receiver prospect Henry Ruggs took to Twitter on Monday evening — announcing a list featuring his top five schools. Hailing from Robert E. Lee High School in Montgomery Ala., Ruggs listed Alabama, Auburn, Florida, Florida State, and Penn State as the quintet he’s currently focusing on.

Many think his recruitment could come down to Alabama vs. Auburn.

Rivals.com has Ruggs currently ranked as a top-200 player nationally. When viewing his highlight tape, there’s no question the athlete brings some serious speed to the table.

Last year, Riggs accrued 44 catches, 10 touchdown grabs, and 1,007 receiving yards. These gaudy numbers equate to a 22.9 yards-per-catch average, and nearly 25-percent of his catches went for scores.

Not only is Ruggs silky-smooth from a route-running standpoint, but he’s excellently able to garner separation downfield with his sublime quickness and agility. Per his Hudl account, Riggs proclaims to run a 4.38 in the 40-yard dash.

One can expect Nick Saban and Gus Malzahn to doggedly battle for the services of this exceptionally talented pass-catcher.
