With the regular season having come and gone, it’s time to recognize some of the standout performances we had offensively in the SEC.

It may have been a down year in the conference at quarterback, but Alabama’s Jalen Hurts assembled an incredible freshman campaign. He doesn’t get enough credit for the Crimson Tide being undefeated and No. 1 in the country.

As far as the skill positions are concerned, LSU running back Derrius Guice emerged from the long shadow cast by Leonard Fournette. What a future he has in Baton Rouge. By far the most consistent pass catcher in the league for 2016 was Ole Miss tight end Evan Engram. He presents matchup problems for linebackers and safeties alike.
