There are plenty of uncommitted big fish still available for the SEC as we approach six months leading to National Signing Day 2016.

LSU’s out front in the early going with 12 players rated four or five-star prospects, second-most nationally behind Ohio State. The Tigers are ranked No. 1 in the 247Sports Team Rankings at this junction and have their eye on several players inside the Top 100 who could be leaning toward the SEC.

The current national Top 25 team recruiting rankings features nine teams from the SEC, including Alabama, Ole Miss and the aforementioned LSU inside the top 10. Alabama has welcomed five consecutive top-ranked classes to Tuscaloosa, but that streak appears to be in jeopardy this cycle thanks to the Tigers, Florida State and the Buckeyes.

Glancing at 2016’s top remaining uncommitted recruits, there are 11 within the top 25 in southern states that should land in the SEC next spring. We’ve sorted them out for you and have attempted to project a final three for each (most players haven’t announced finalists).
