It’s safe to say that elite wide receiver Kyle Davis will play in the SEC.

The 6-foot-2, 218-pound Lawrenceville, Ga., native narrowed his list to three SEC teams: Auburn, Georgia and Tennessee.

247Sports’ rankings have Davis rated as the country’s No. 1 wide receiver and the No. 13 overall player in the country.

October 23 is decision day for Davis, and he’s not letting out which team is his leader. He likes all three depth charts, and he explained to the AJC the three schools contact him all the time.

“My Top 3 all have pretty good depth chart situations,” Davis told the AJC.

All three schools are relatively even right now, and the official visits will help Davis identify where he feels most comfortable.

“Probably my official visits,” Davis said. “Those are going to play a huge part. The thing that I’m looking for with my official visits is how the campus operates during the week. I have been to all of those schools on Gamedays so I want to see how they all operate during the week. That’s environment is something that I will pay attention to.”
