The Week 2 slate saw the SEC go a perfect 10-0 in non-conference play and featured only two conference games as Florida destroyed Kentucky and Mississippi State handled South Carolina. Those two contests were not expected to factor into the race for the SEC title, and thus did not change any SEC championship odds heading into Week 3.

However, by this time next week, the odds could significantly be altered by outcomes this weekend in Oxford, Columbia, Baton Rouge and Auburn.

If you like Ole Miss to pull the upset at home this week against Alabama, the Rebels’ 40/1 national title odds are very interesting. Those odds will be cut in half should Ole Miss beat Nick Saban and the Tide yet again.

Another intriguing team is Auburn, currently sitting at 18/1 to win the SEC and 50/1 to win it all. Should the Tigers win this week, both those odds will drastically shift with home games against LSU, Louisiana-Monroe and a trip to Starkville on the schedule before hitting the Week 7 bye.

If you have bought into the renaissance of offense at Mizzou, now is the time to get in on the Tigers’ odds to win the SEC. Should the Tigers beat Georgia at home this week, Mizzou’s odds to win the league will change significantly by this time next week.
