Alabama and LSU have one of the fiercest rivalries in the SEC.

This season, both are ranked in the top five of the preseason AP Poll and will be battling all year long to earn one of four spots in the College Football Playoff.

But, with the recent flooding that has caused massive amounts of damage in Louisiana, that football rivalry was set aside as Alabama sent a truckload of supplies to LSU to help aid the victims of the deadly flooding:

The Baton Rouge community has also received supplies and support from South Carolina (who dealt with flooding of its own last year) in recent days.

Though the Tigers and the Crimson Tide will go at it on the gridiron on Saturday, Nov. 5, in Baton Rouge, it’s always nice to see SEC teams supporting each other in times of need.
