Hall of Fame running back Emmitt Smith, one of Florida’s greatest players in program history, barked at an official near the end of the third quarter of the Gators’ win over third-ranked Ole Miss on Saturday.

One of Florida’s special sideline guests for the national showdown, Smith shouted “What’s that?!” in the direction of an official after the Gators were flagged for kick-catch interference against Ole Miss’s Carlos Davis.

Smith wasn’t angry, he just needed an explanation.

One of college football’s superstars during his time as a consensus All-American with the Gators, Smith rushed for nearly 4,000 yards during his SEC career and tallied 37 total touchdowns.
