The Buffalo Bills made some roster tweaks on Sunday, and one of those tweaks involved former South Carolina TE Rory Anderson.

The Bills signed the former Gamecock, who spent last season on the Chicago Bears’ injured reserve list.

After spending his rookie year with the San Francisco 49ers, the 2015 seventh-round pick is trying to make the 53-man roster for the Bills.

To make room for Anderson on the roster, the Bills waived injured TE Jason Croom, who played collegiately at Tennessee.

Buffalo’s next preseason game is scheduled for Saturday night against the Baltimore Ravens. Whether Anderson can learn the Bills’ offense in time to play in that game remains to be seen.
