After bouncing around several professional teams following his playing days at South Carolina, Tori Gurley is getting another shot working with the NFL.

This time, though, he’ll in the studio instead of on the field.

Gurley tweeted Wednesday that he has begun working at the NFL Network in Los Angeles. The former Gamecocks receiver was a regular on the SEC Network for the last few years, but now he’s taking the next step in his TV career.

Over the 2009-10 seasons at South Carolina, Gurley hauled in 75 receptions for 905 yards and six touchdowns. He went undrafted and spent the next four years serving primarily as a practice squad player for the Green Bay Packers, Minnesota Vikings, Oakland Raiders, Tampa Bay Buccaneers, San Diego Chargers, Baltimore Ravens, Cleveland Browns and Buffalo Bills.

Gurley played for three CFL teams from 2015-17 before hanging up his cleats and shifting his focus to broadcasting. Prior to this season, he infamously guaranteed that South Carolina would beat Georgia in Week 2 — the Gamecocks lost 41-17 — but that didn’t stop him from landing a job at the NFL Network.
