Report: Oft-injured South Carolina WR to transfer
Shaq Davidson never could seem to stay healthy enough to get on the field for South Carolina, and now it seems the dream of him making big plays for the Gamecocks has come and gone.
According to 247Sports, Davidson is no longer a member of the football team and likely will be transferring to another school.
The move leaves new head coach Will Muschamp with just seven scholarship receivers on the roster, according to John Whittle of 247Sports.
Davidson, who was the No. 30 wide receiver in the 2014 recruiting class and a former U.S. Army All-American, did not record a catch for the Gamecocks.
