The Jacksonville Jaguars absolutely demolished the Houston Texans on Sunday afternoon, rolling to a dominant 45-7 victory.

In the game, Jacksonville QB Blake Bortles was outstanding, throwing for 326 yards and three touchdowns to lead his team to victory.

However, after the game, Houston DE Jadeveon Clowney wasn’t in the mood to pay a compliment to his opponent. When asked if Bortles was improving this year, Clowney simply replied “He’s trash,” even after the Texans got stomped by Bortles’ Jags:

Clowney was the No. 1 overall pick in the 2014 NFL Draft out of South Carolina, while Bortles, a UCF product, went two spots later at No. 3.

However, even with those draft class ties, it’s clear there’s no love lost between Clowney and Bortles. Seeing as how the two teams play twice a year, Clowney will have to back up his statements when the teams meet again in 2018.

Clowney did record three QB hits in the game, but he probably didn’t do much trash-talking on the field, especially as his team was so far behind on the scoreboard.
