After learning of Nosovitch’s original plan on Wednesday, Steve Spurrier gave the fourth-string passer Thursday off to ponder his decision. He returned to the team and practiced at tight end on Friday and Saturday before delivering the news to his coach that Columbia, S.C. is home.

“Yeah, I’m sticking around,” Nosovitch said Sunday at South Carolina’s Fan Appreciation Day. “I’m staying.”

During Saturday’s scrimmage, Nosovitch had a 9-yard run on his only snap in the Wildcat package and was the intended target for two passes at wide receiver. Spurrier believes Nosovitch can impact an impact this season at several positions.

“I think he told me he’s here for good,” Spurrier said on Sunday. “I think he’s here for good.”
