South Carolina announced Friday afternoon a new 10-year extension agreement with IMG as the exclusive multimedia rights holder of the university’s athletics.

This deal will take effect on July 1, 2017.

“We are excited to continue our successful partnership with IMG for the next decade,” said Athletics Director Ray Tanner in a release. “As a market leader in the college space, IMG’s industry expertise is a valuable asset to Gamecock Athletics. This extension allows us to continue the positive momentum of building our brand while allowing our department to provide the resources needed to help our student-athletes have a championship experience at Carolina.”

The contract includes IMG’s exclusive representation and management of the athletic department’s television, radio and game program assets, as well as printed promotional materials, video and signage for football and basketball.
