South Carolina QB commit Ryan Hilinski receives invitation to elite QB camp
For 2019 quarterbacks, landing invitations to some elite summer camps is important, both so they can continue to hone their skills and so (for uncommitted players) they can land the best scholarship offers.
On Wednesday, South Carolina QB commit Ryan Hilinski announced that he’d been invited to one of those camps.
As you can see in the tweet below, Hilinski revealed he’d been invited to the Rivals Five Star Challenge — a showcase of some of the nation’s top players:

According to the 247Sports composite, Hilinski is the No. 6 pro-style passer in the class of 2019 and the No. 19 overall recruit from the state of California.
If he decides to attend that camp, though, he could see his rankings rise before he arrives on South Carolina’s campus.
